In the early morning hours before the sun rises, things begin to wake up at the famed tavern. Aljumon has taken up residence here, in a suite upstairs. Meanwhile, downstairs the barkeep and her staff begin getting ready for a busy day. Two orphan children tend to the horses in the stalls out back. Several local drunks accommodate the barkeep as she cleans the surface around their groggy heads, having passed out only a few hours ago. One of them puts on their hat and stumbles out into the muddy street.
