"There's a terrifying amount of song structure on this album. I was really into the poetry of the lyrics for much of this record. There's a lot of comedy here. There's heartbreak, of course, and terror. The Accident is an ambitious piece that probably would have benefited from an orchestra, rather than being recorded in a spare room. Some of the songs, like Sea of Shadows, is a staple of my live work. This is the only album I made that was available as an actual CD from online retailers. The collection ends with a song about golf as a metaphor for life. Take it easy." Recorded NJ.
